Anger behaves like waves. Some external force provokes it. Water whose natural tendency is to go down (be humble), gets aroused and takes the shape of a destructive wave. This happens inspite of water knowing the fact that this anger will destroy the wave and some part of the rock against which it hits.
Like facing a wave, you can’t do much when you are facing it. Just stand in front of it and remain calm – you can’t fight a wave. Of course, when it hits you – most of the time you will wonder why am I so calm, what’s my mistake? It will chip away a part of you. Still, that’s the best way to handle it, to make water realize its true character and helps you grow in life as a person.
Difficult, but not as difficult as stopping yourself from becoming a wave.
