Today, I heard a very insightful sentence from my friend. We were discussing his family issues amongst us. He was narrating how he had been under a heap of financial and personal problems off late. I told him that the way he carries himself in public, it is really difficult to say that he is facing these many problems. He is always cool, calm and relaxed and with a gentle smile on his face. He will always laugh with friends and do his normal chores.

He then said to me an insightful thing:

There is no good time or a bad time. The time becomes difficult or bad for us when we forget to smile.

He moved on to explain that it depends on our attitude how we choose to face our difficulties. We can not avoid them as they present to us by themselves, we do not have a choice  in not facing them. So, the best way is to stop cribbing that we have a difficult time and start finding our way out, living in the best possible manner to see that time off. This simple thinking can provide us a lot of strength and courage to face the difficult times and emerge out much stronger and knowledgeable.
