Leaders don’t just identify problems and provide constructive feedback, they provide solutions as well.

Most of the times, the employees might be knowing the problem consciously or sub-consciously but he fails to identify or act on the solution for a variety of reasons.

It then becomes the job of a leader to provide feedback and provide a practical solution as well to the employee. This helps employee get a new perspective and get motivation and necessary seriousness to act consistently to solve the problem.

For example, a manager might say to her teammate that your communication skills are poor, you need to work on it. In another scenario, he may additionally add that he is investing in him/her and sponsoring the membership of xyz communication classes in his/her location.
