Recently I met an entrepreneur who runs a small coaching class set up for MBA. He said that one of the biggest challenge for him is how to recruit faculty who can keep the students’ motivation levels high consistently.

He emphasized that students have a lot of distractions these days. In a tremendous competition they need someone with whom they can share their feelings, their emotions, their worries. Someone with whom they can relate to. That someone should ideally become an ideal for them to strive towards.  That someone should make learning as fun and address individual pain points.

Alas, he mentioned this remains a distant dream for him most of the times. He can find good teachers but not good educators, one who can relate to the students emotionally and get them on board quickly to jump start their learning curves.
