Visualization is the latest buzz word in management. People want to see charts and easy to consume visuals (like infographics) to understand the data and infer insights easily and quickly. Our brains are tuned to accept visual pictures and information more easily. After all, that’s one of the primary reasons we use Powerpoint decks over Microsoft Word documents.

Always try to present your idea through a visual, if possible. Sketch the contours of the problem at hand, scribble your ideas in white space to define a pattern, use white board for brainstorming, present charts and insights to communicate change and so on. You might be doing it already, to an extent. The key is to make it a default way of thinking and communicating. So, just draw that out.
