We yearn for success. We do a task, activity, project or anything else with a desire towards accomplishing something. If we accomplish that, we call it as ‘success’. But just like getting a heads everytime on tossing a coin, we do not experience success in every endeavor we undertake. When we do get, we are happy, satisfied and motivated. When we don’t, sometimes we become anxious, weak, get stressed, complain, cry or crib.

This may be because, we view ‘success’ from an event perspective. We need to view it from a ‘journey’ perspective. The journey can be a short one or a long one. The roads can be twisted, bumpy or with obstacles – testing our skills to drive on them towards the destination. Mostly we would reach the destination, but it may stop mattering to us after a point – because we start enjoying the journey, rather living through the journey . We start living a drive of ‘wonder’ as we drive on it. Achieving this state is ‘real success’.
