Most of us struggle waking up early. No matter how useful we may find it, how strong resolutions we take at the beginning of the year, we are not able to develop this habit on a consistent basis. It becomes difficult to tame the brain and resist that temptation to sleep that extra few minutes.
In my efforts to do the same, I have found a simple trick quite useful in waking up early. It involves a simple perspective change.
Wake up at the exact same time every day
Fix up a waking time and make sure you’re alert, awake, and out of bed at the right time each morning. Whether you go to sleep at 10PM or 3AM, make sure you stick to your schedule. This will help our brain to fix attention on waking up at a time and not waking up early. Your time may or may not be early enough, to start with, but as you start sticking to your determination you will automatically be propelled to shift the schedule to an earlier time.
Waking up at the same time every day helps to develop your body clock/body cycle as well that keeps your body energetic, healthy, and focused.
